We're enjoying our week at the beach with my husband's extended family. The girls love that not only is the house we're staying at right on the beach but there's a pool!

All 3 girls got new swimsuits for Beach Week 2012. K and BK both chose a tankini from Kwik Sew 3605 while MG got a bikini that I had started in March. It's based on a RTW swimsuit that was a hand-me-down from K. Originally, I was going to do a tutorial and share the pattern but time got away from me. I was lucky to finish the swimsuits.:)
We're enjoying our week with family and having hardly any responsibilities beyond having a good time. Everyone needs a little escape now and then!

The suits look great! Hope you are enjoying your much deserved holiday!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brittney! We've been having a fabulous time and found out tonight that we'll get to do it next year too.:)
DeleteAll the swimsuits look great, Cindy! Enjoy every minute of your holiday. The girls obviously are!!!
ReplyDeletePerfect family vacation ... jumpin' and swimmin'!
ReplyDeleteFab bathing suits. You are so talented with stretchy fabric.
Glad you're enjoying your holiday. The girls look like they never leave the water! Great job on all the swimsuits, especially the 'Mom- drafted' one.
ReplyDeleteThey look amazing! Great work! Where do you get your swimsuit fabric?
ReplyDeleteThank You! The little girls' swimsuits that were blue and green prints are made from Chez Ami swimsuit fabric. K's (the blue print) was from Hancock Fabrics and the pink/purple/white Tankini in the first picture is fabric from Joann Fabrics clearance table.
DeleteAwesome photo Cindy, have a great break!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nicole! My nose is getting a little crispy from all the sun but we're having a fantastic time.:)
